This week we have learned about hypertext. It is quite different of common text. Hypertext is more complex than text but more convenience. A word could links to a article to explain the word. And you will find there is no end of hypertext if you want.

On one hand, I should say hypertext provides great convenience for readers. Once you read a novel, you do not need to check the history or something you do not understand, just click the hypertext, the full explaination will come out to help you quickly understand. It is a innovation of the reading, as a reader, I should be glad.

On the other hand, hypertext should be the end of original books and authors. Hypertext is more attractive than a 2 kilogramme book. What can we do to save them?

Everything have two sides. High speed development of internet also lead big drawbacks to common life. In the class this week, we have learned about the Commercialization of the Network. With commercial, that means some peole is making money through the network. Because of the high speed development, the network do not have enough time to have rules or laws to control. Download is very common in everybody's life. People do not only use network to search news or messages, they searching the videos, audios, films, pictures and games. Why does people feel crazy to do this? because it is free. For a new comming film, in the cinema you have to paid to watch, but do not worried about that, after a week you could find free film on the website to download. Is that the disadvantages of network or humanity?The copyright can not be protect in the network. We need a suitable law to control this situation but hardly in short time.

This week we have learned about the key concept Web 2.0. Web 1.0 is more focus on the large amount of database, and Web 2.0 is concentrate on every people.Let's see some core service that Web 2.0 have provide to us.

Blog: just like everybody's dairy on website, people show their feelings, knowledge, point of veiws and connect with other people to made a big web.

RSS：people making articles and public automatically.

Podcasting: people made there own video or audio and public. Just like YouTube.

SNS：people's blog and connect with others.

WIKI：it is a kind of cyclopaedia made by people themselves.

The function of Web 2.0 is very complex as the picture above shows, but it really provides great convenience to us. P2P services connect the all the people together.
